How do I join CompSoc?
All undergratuate and postgraduate students of CSE are automatically members of CompSoc.
If you want to participate in events run by CompSoc, make sure you're on CSE's soc-announce mailing list. Notifications about upcoming events are posted to this list. If you're a CSE student, you should already be on the list, unless you removed yourself. If you're not on it, you can join by typing the following command on a lab machine:
mlalias soc-announce -a $USER
How can I help?
If you want to help run CompSoc events or recieve notifications about upcoming meetings, join the compsoc.volunteers list:
mlalias compsoc.volunteers -a $USER
