COMPSOC Paintball 2004

COMPSOC is proud to announce that we will be holding our first ever Paintball meet on Sunday, August 1st 2004 (after Week 1, Session 2). The meet is being held near Blacktown at
Heartbreak Ridge
829 Richmond Road
Marsden Park

| from 9:30 am onwards until we've exhausted our supply of ammunition.
Thankfully, the guys at Heartbreak Ridge are offering us a lot of it
cheaply.
- $60: 500 shots, overalls, mask, semi-auto rifle
- $100: 700 shots, overalls, anti-fog mask, vest, semi-auto rifle
- $130: Same as above with 1000 shots
- $180: Same as above with 1400 shots
A free BBQ or Vegetarian lunch will also be provided on the day as well
as bonus paintballs depending on how large our final booking is. If a
significant number of students express having trouble making their own way there, we'll look into hiring a bus to take students there from the university and/or Central (see poll on right side).
To sign up, drop by the COMPSOC stall during lunch hours throughout the
rest of this session outside the Electrical Engineering building (I-17)
along with a $40 deposit. To pay online, please make your payment to the "UNSW Computing Society" at 062-303 10104802. For the description, please enter your name, followed by your student number and/or CSE login if applicable or space permitting. You'll also need to send a follow-up email to compsoc.paintball at cse.unsw.edu.au so that we can reply back with a confirmation once your deposit has been cleared.
COMPSOC Paintball is open to all, so sign up your friends and even your
lecturer! It's time to stop playing Quake in the computer labs and physically hurt
your friends for fun in the real world.
