iPhone Application Programming Workshops!
CSESoc is running free iPhone App programming workshops starting on the 12th of August every week at 2pm. Come along to learn how to code for the coolest (and if you've been reading the news, most controversial) mobile platform around! We'll be covering the basics that you'll need to know in order to dive into iPhone development, and the classes are being taught by Alan Zeino.If you have a Mac, bring it along - else, you can use the computers in the lab.
Assumed Knowledge: C (functions, pointers, ADTs, etc).
Schedule:
W4: OO Programming, Xcode and Objective-C vs C
W5: More Objective-C, and simple Classes
W6: Objective-C memory management and Model-View-Controller
W7: Interface Builder, Important APIs
W8: Custom Views, View Controllers
